The Yoga Rx
Classes allow you to connect with your life-giving breath, with how you feel and with what you feel in your mind, body and spirit. Practicing yoga can help to build strength, increase flexibility, increase stamina, energize and/or relax, create a sense of calm and balance, increase focus and awareness, improve posture, and more! We have props that serve to allow for variations in practice to increase comfort, support, stability and/or depth in a pose.
First timers to yoga are welcome! Not able to contort yourself into a pretzel—not a problem! Pretzel configuration is not our mission or goal. Haven’t had a pedicure—no worries! Perfectly or recently pedicured feet are not a show-stopper for yoga! Wherever you are is just fine. Come as you are. Just wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely.
Learn about other principles and ethics of yoga like doing no harm, being content, self-study, truthfulness—as it relates to yourself as well as in relationship with others.
